Overview

humanizer-it is a skill for Claude Code and other agents, dedicated to Italian text. It relies on a catalog of 52 patterns across 12 categories and on 15 hard-banned constructions, including the negative parallelism «non solo… ma anche» and the em-dash.

It offers three modes: full edit, audit only with a cleanliness score, and a targeted fix on one category. A dependency-free Python scanner, scripts/scan.py, counts the banned constructions and measures sentence rhythm. The skill works only with Italian; according to the README, the goal is text quality, not getting past detectors.

Who it is for

Installation

The README offers a single command for most agents (npx skills add), a ZIP archive to upload in Claude.ai (Settings, Capabilities, Skills), installation through the Claude Code plugin marketplace, or manually copying the skills/humanizer-it folder into the agent’s skills directory.

Points of attention

  • Version 0.1.0 according to the README badge: a young project, 5 stars at the time of checking.
  • Works only with Italian (SKILL.md); sibling projects exist for Russian and English.
  • For a manual install, copy the whole skill folder and not just SKILL.md, since the scripts/scan.py scanner is part of it.
