Migration

Change platform, keep your search ranking

Wix, Shopify, WordPress or another agency: we rebuild your site on infrastructure in your name, URLs included.

301 redirects checked No-downtime switchover All in your name

What moves

Six things that come with you

Content

Pages, posts, images and documents, carried over and proofread. Nothing is rewritten without your consent.

Products

Catalogue, variants, photos and stock, exported to CSV, re-imported, then checked one by one.

Customers and orders

Customer accounts and order history, as far as the platform allows them to be exported.

Email

Your addresses stay the same. The email records are ready before the switchover.

Domain

Transferred to an account in your name, or simply repointed if it is already yours.

Search ranking

Titles, descriptions, alt text and structured data, carried over page by page.

What does not move: the platform's theme and code, which belong to it. So the site is rebuilt, with your content, on a server in your name.

301 redirects

Every old URL gets its redirect

Google knows your site by its URLs. Before the switchover, we list every one of them, images and PDFs included, and match each to its new page. A 301 redirect tells search engines the page has moved for good.

  • Inventory taken from the sitemap and Search Console
  • A redirect map you approve line by line
  • No redirect chains, no bulk redirects to the home page
  • The new sitemap submitted to Search Console on switchover day
The process

Six steps, with your old site live until the end

The timeline follows the pack you choose, written into the quote. Your old site stays live until the switchover, and your current subscription until the final checks.

Audit of the old site

Pages, URLs, products, forms, accounts: everything that exists, and who owns it.

What you own A complete inventory of your current site, in one file.

Export

Content, products and customers exported from the platform. The rest is copied by hand.

What you own Your exported data, stored on an account in your name.

Rebuild

The new site is built on your server, at a private test address.

What you own The server, code and database, already in your name.

Redirect map

Each old URL gets its new page. You approve the map before the switchover.

What you own The redirect map, stored with the site's code.

DNS switchover

DNS cache lowered in advance, old site live during propagation: no downtime.

What you own The domain, on an account in your name, with its email.

Post-launch checks

Redirects, forms, email and Search Console checked, then reviewed at N+4 weeks.

What you own Everything: the keys, the documentation and the ownership certificate.

In all honesty

What can go wrong, and what we do about it

A drop in visibility

Complete 301 redirects, metadata carried over, Search Console monitoring after the switchover.

Broken links

Every URL tested before and after the switchover. A 404 error is fixed as soon as it appears.

Lost email

MX records recreated as they were before the switchover, mailboxes tested for sending and receiving.

A locked domain

A domain transferred less than 60 days ago usually has to wait. We check this at the audit.

Customer passwords

They cannot be exported. Your customers choose a new one, with an email we prepare with you.

A site going offline

Old site live during propagation, a rollback ready if a check fails.

Where are you starting from?

Four starting points, one method

Wix

The site stays on the Wix platform: we rebuild it. The domain transfers.

Shopify

Products and customers export to CSV. The store is rebuilt and the catalogue re-imported.

WordPress

Content exports. If the accounts are not in your name, we recover them with you.

Another agency

We list what is in your name and what is not, then request the access with you.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before they migrate

Will I lose my search ranking?
No one can guarantee a position. Movement is common in the first weeks. With every old URL redirected and the metadata carried over, the risk of a lasting loss is limited, and we watch Search Console with you.
Will my site go offline during the migration?
No. The new site is built and tested at a private address. On switchover day the old one stays live during DNS propagation, and a rollback is ready if a check fails.
Will my email addresses change?
No. They depend on the domain, which comes with you. If your mailboxes change provider, we move the messages too, and test sending and receiving before the switchover.
What happens to my customers and orders?
Customer accounts and order history are carried over when the platform allows them to be exported. Passwords never export: your customers choose a new one, with an email we prepare with you.
Can I keep my domain name?
Yes. It is transferred to an account in your name, or simply repointed if it is already yours. A domain registered or transferred less than 60 days ago usually has to wait until that period ends.
Should I cancel my current subscription straight away?
No. Keep it until the post-launch checks are done. We tell you when to cancel it, and what to download first: form responses, invoices, analytics.
How long does a migration take?
It follows the length of the pack you choose, from 3 to 14 weeks. The audit of the old site shows whether moving the content adds time; the schedule is written into the quote, week by week.
